What is THCa?
Delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid (THCa) is a naturally occurring compound (phytocannabinoid) found in the raw cannabis plant.
Non-Psychoactive (Raw): Raw THCa is non-intoxicating.
Conversion to THC: When THCa is exposed to heat (like smoking or vaping), it undergoes a process called decarboxylation, which converts it into the well-known psychoactive compound, Delta-9 THC. This conversion is what delivers the effects traditionally associated with cannabis.

Are Hemp and Marijuana the same plant?
Botanically, both "hemp" and "marijuana" are classified as Cannabis sativa. The distinction is purely legal, based on the Delta-9 THC content:
Hemp: Cannabis containing no more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis (legal under the 2018 Farm Bill).
